Former Texas State Representative Steve Toth is one of three candidates in the Republican Party primary challenging Congressman Kevin Brady. Brady, a member of the entrenched political incumbency since 1991 claims on his website to support his constituents holding him accountable for his votes and now Toth is taking Brady to task for voting to fund the very jihadist travel to America Brady claims to oppose.
Here’s a screen grab from Brady’s Twitter feed on his “refusal to let dangerous jihadists travel to the U.S. “(click to enlarge:)
And Toth’s brilliant response:
Merry Christmas Congressman Brady!
Brady, voting against our interests since 1991. But adept enough to toss kibbles & bits sufficient to insure re-erection each second year.
Sounds like Culberson.
Does nothing for the district, takes credit for stuff he didn’t do, and deigns to come back to Houston for townhalls to tell us how wonderful he is because of all the trivial stuff he votes for.
The only true thing he says is that “He keeps his word”.
Yet only true cause he never stands for anything that we could call him on.
Brady is not the only Texas congressman to betray his district. Dr. Burgess in Denton County is on the hot seat as well.
