On November 1^st and November 5^th, two employers with operations in Lamb and Dallas Counties submitted WARN mass layoff notices to the Texas Workforce Commission. Additionally, on November 7^th, the day AFTER Harris County voted to layoff fellow Texans,  Hawker Beechcraft announced its San Antonio facilities would begin the process of closing.

110 employees of Plains Cotton Cooperative Association in Littlefield and 600 employees of Navistar Truck Group in Garland will lose their jobs over the Christmas holiday season (01/05/2013 and 12/31/2012, respectively).
