A public meeting of the Fort Bend Independent School District Board of Trustees has been called for Monday, June 3rd at 5:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comment & opinions on a proposed 2013-2014 school district budget, a proposed Debt Service tax rate and the proposed Maintenance & Operations tax rate for the year 2013.

Immediately following the public meeting, at 6pm, the Board will consider workshop items such as:

• a proposed bond refunding,
• the write-off of uncollectible property taxes, and
• proposed Residential Placement Service providers

The meeting will be held in the Board Room of the FBISD Administration Building, 16431 Lexington Blvd, in Sugar Land.
