Fernando Herrera unveiled his new campaign signs and campaign logo at Hefley’s 2010 Bar on West Gray Tuesday night. About 40 people packed the bar and enjoyed Hefley’s hospitality and food while mingling with the man vying to be Houston’s next mayor.
Fernando’s already done the math and knows how many votes in each precinct he needs to win. With the Fourth Ward venue of Hefley’s as one of his first stops on the campaign trail I’d expect to see Fernando making more appearances in some very smart and strategic precincts around urban Houston.

Be sure to hand out lots of those Minutemen shirts in the heavily Hispanic Districts on the east side.
Democrats got generally routed in 2010 general elections, but Gene Green managed to beat off the Republican Hispanic Candidate quite easily and he did not have the MM entourage hanging around him.
Smart is good…numerous is better.
