Sorry, neither Ft. Bend nor Harris County L/R dinners fit my rubber chicken budget this year. Absolute bar on entertainment spending due pending economic implosion. And no, I don’t believe the old rubric about ‘electing more Rs’ so we can slow, stop and turn this thing around. We (and I) have worked to elect many Rs, most of whom promptly joined the grow gov/tax/spend/borrow/spend more cabals in DC, in Austin and in our counties.
May Lincoln, the man who killed habeas and waged total war on civilian populations, and Reagan, who gave us the first amnesty, rest in peace.
But best wishes to Mr. Cruz, who may yet prove himself a true friend of liberty in all ways big and small. He might up the ante on the Hill by filing repeal of the NFA and the GCA. That would twist some knickers…
