According to Montgomery County Court records, Texas State Rep. Ron Reynolds next court hearing is scheduled for 1:30 pm February 6th, 2014. The indictment, recently obtained from a source, explains the 10 counts of barratry; five for “knowingly accept employment which was the result of solicitation, by telephone, by Crystal Valdez or Robert Valdez.” and five for “intent to obtain an economic benefit, pay or offer to pay or give or offer to give to Robert Valdez money to solicit employment…”
Ron Reynolds is the State Representative of House District 27. The District covers the Fort Bend cities of Meadows Place, Stafford (all but a sliver) , and parts of Arcola, Pearland, Houston, Sugar Land and Missouri City.
In April 2012 Reynolds was indicted on the charge of barratry. In February 2013 the Harris County District Attorney dropped the case citing problems with two Harris County District Attorney’s Office Investigators.
