At the bizarro Downtown Houston Pachyderm Club meeting today, my good friend Don Hooper advised me that there was one more chance to see a debate between surrogates for the Cruz/Dewhurst campaigns.

 This Friday’s HPRA lunchtime presentation will feature two gentlemen representing the two camps in the fight within the Texas GOP for the Republican nomination for US senate to fill the position being vacated by Kay Hutchison.

Speaking for Ted Cruz will be his father, Rafael Cruz, and speaking for David Dewhurst will be former state representative Ashley Smith.
