But first, don’t forget that early voting for the runoffs started today. If you need to know who is on the ballot, go to Harrisvotes.com.
There are a couple of meetings this week that I want to let you know about. Not including tonight’s meeting of the Shoreacres City council!
On Thursday at the weekly meeting of the Downtown Houston Pachyderm Club, Justice Ken Wise will be lecturing on Texas history. Just kidding. Justice Wise is an incredible resource on Texas history and is entertaining and informative. Plus, he will answer your questions! And don’t forget to listen to his podcasts at WiseaboutTexas.com. From the invite:

Also on Thursday, BJP’s own Don Hooper will be speaking again. It doesn’t look like Harris County DA Devon Anderson tried to block him this time. I suppose after her disastrous attempt last time she decided to lay low. Don will be speaking at the monthly meeting of the Spring Tea Party. Here are the details:

Yeah, a flak jacket may be in order. After Hooper released details of the Harris County DA’s “investigation” at his last speech, many minds were changed and people are starting to understand that the current Harris County DA chose votes and friends over principles in the Planned Parenthood case. And yes, once again it will be standing room only so you better get there early. And make sure to say hi to Don, and tell him thanks for enduring the flak he’s getting for telling the truth.
