Documents obtained by yours truly indicate seven people in Montgomery County, Texas are registered to vote at the address of 501 North Thompson #401, Conroe, Texas 77301. The effective date of the registration of the two women and five men residing in Suite 401 for voting purposes range from November 1998 through December 2014.
501 North Thompson #401 is the office of Montgomery County Judge Craig Doyal:
Sacre bleu!
James Fredrick’s, Judge Doyal’s Chief of Staff and former publisher of the Conroe Courier and the County Judge know full well SEVEN people are not residing in Doyal’s office. And these seven people IMHO, will never be prosecuted for using the address of the County Judge for voting purposes, yet receiving mail at another address.
It seems clear that from articles posted here, here and here it’s a common practice in Texas that people claim residency where they clearly do not and cannot dwell.
And Fredrick’s wife knows this too.
His wife Melinda, was elected Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas at the 2010 State Convention – according to her bio, Melinda chairs SAFE-Texas (Secure and Fair Elections in Texas), which is an organization of Texas Republican grass roots leaders that is working to provide support to our legislators on the issue of Voter ID.
No word yet on when the Texas 14th Court of Appeals will set a date to hear oral arguments from the attorneys representing Jim Jenkins and Adrian Heath —who were convicted for using the address of The Residence Inn as their address for voting purposes.

Well sounds like selective prosecution. Where’s their Texas Driver’s license address? It’s state law that you must change the address within 30 days. How many citations have been issued by any of these people for a violation of this law?

instead of more board members the RUD should be dissolved and all public indebtedness paid off and then be reestablished with an elected board voted on by eligible woodlands voters.as it is who knows where the money goes.and how about 100 million in public indebtedness bonds, who voted for that?
Ross says
Since those bonds are being paid off by taxes on the businesses that wanted the district, why would you care? Or do you think the bonds should be paid off by taxes on all Woodlands residents?

Same thing in Harris County, lots of folks registered at the office of County Judge. This came up during Dave Wilson’s residency trial. I know Vince Ryan is still screaming make it go away. Dave of course is still laughing.
