Which Republican Supports Illegal Immigration?
Houston, TX — Senate Bill 185, filed by Senator Charles Perry (R – Lubbock), would play a major role in eliminating a major magnet that encourages illegal immigration in Texas. Until recently, it was on a fast track to pass the senate and reach debate in the state house.
In a recent interview with The CW, Senator Perry insisted: “It’s still on the agenda, it’s still ready to go. We need one more vote to turn it over, and that’s currently being worked on.”
To find out who this lone holdout is we made calls to every Republican office in the state senate. In our calls most Republicans were supportive, the only two offices we could not get a definitive answer from was Senator Craig Estes (R – Wichita Falls) and Senator Kevin Eltife (R – Tyler).
Both of these senators voted to suspend the rules and vote out this measure in 2011. We encourage constituents in their legislative districts to start making phone calls and ask them why they are supportive of illegal immigration.

Want to know who’s too cowardly to openly support SB 185? It ain’t the Democrats folks.

But shielding elected officials from issues of legitimate public debate that affect the personal safety of law enforcement and law abiding citizens & legal residents and the sovereignty of this nation only serves to reinforce the belief that state-run media doesn’t exist to report the news; they exist to ensure the information you seek is kept secret & unreported.

So taking over local control of the locality’s policies is now the policy of the Republican party in Texas?
Why is that so many Republicans hate Latinos so much? I am waiting for comments from anyone here as to the Republican bash where “Illegals” are compared to roaches and rats.
Why not go after the employers? Why not work for a National ID that we all have to carry?
Tell me how you can tell the difference between an “Illegal” and a “legal”?
Texas Republicans get a large percentage of Latino votes because up until recently they have avoided the hate that one finds in other states. But they may change if the rank and file keep yelling loud enough where we are roaches and rats.
Manuel Barrera says
correction, that we are roaches and rats.
Dan Golvach says
Eltife is an employer of illegals in a round about way. He owns a reality company that works with home builders like Perry who profit illegally by hiring scores of illegal aliens.
Meanwhile 93 million Americans are out of work.
Follow the money and you’ll see that some senators are bought and sold. Look at his donors. Latinos aren’t rats and roaches. People who come here illegally along with those who hire them are criminals and should be treated as such. We have laws for a reason.
All of my Latino American brothers and sisters agree.

Manuel, hispanic doesn’t equal illegal. There are illegal aliens from 110 different countries in the US, including from countries that are sponsors of terrorism.. Where did you get the idea that the only illegal aliens are from Mexico or Central America? I talked with an aide in Estes’ office, she fully acknowledged that there are terrorists in the US, but Estes still won’t sign on. When I stopped in Eltife’s office, I thought I’d stepped into the Democrat’s office. Dan’s right, both of these guys take large “campaign contributions” from the employers who hire illegal aliens. Far be it that Estes & Eltife would stand up for what is right. As far as going after the employers who hire them, that’s all part of the federal law, but the current DC administration rarely does it and right after Obama was elected the first time, he did away with the “no match” letters. As far as the National ID, the operative word here is “National”, the states couldn’t pass a law for a national ID card. What the states can do is protect their citizens and legal residents by passing anti-sanctuary city laws. The next time an illegal alien murders or rapes a citizen or legal resident in their respective districts or when we have a terrorist attack committed by an illegal alien in Texas, we can remember these two traitors.
