My preference was to privately mourn for the families affected by the senseless killing of children and school staff in Newtown, CT this past Friday. I’d spent many a summer weekend on Candlewood Lake in Danbury; Newtown was the next town over from Danbury & was where my kid sister lived in the early 90’s. So Ron and I spent the past few days consoling our neighbors, playing with the kiddos on our street, trying to quietly pray & reflect in our own way. We watched no news shows until this day, but one thing I should have done was stay off the Internet.
On the Gateway Pundit blog, Jim Hoft linked to a Freedom’s Outpost story about how liberals were using Facebook and Twitter to come out against guns. Among the selection of tweets advocating for the murder of NRA President Keene and all NRA members was a name familiar to me; probably familiar to many readers of Houston’s Liberal blog sites.
I’ve pasted a screen shot from the Freedom’s Outpost story in case NASA employee and Democrat Precinct 699 Chair John Cobarruvias of the Houstonblog Bay Area Houston tries to delete his tweet (warning language):

Under Colorado law, those "tweets" constitute felony reckless endangerment (see §18-3-208, C.R.S) or incitement to violence (see §18-11-202, C.R.S.).
Anyone with knowledge of any of the "tweeters" being Colorado residents is encourage to report them to the appropriate authorities.
It does seem odd that the left has no compunction about threatening to kill.

They are pro-death when it comes to unborn children (even extending to the time period between birth and leaving the hospital), They are in favor of sexual preference in opposition to God's word, The current Democrat regime chose to allow 34 people to die in Bhengazi (thankfully two ex-navy seals saved 30 of those people against orders), they assault people who are for workers as opposed to for union leadership, they literally steal from people by ignoring the rights of automotive industry stockholders in favor of unions, they support death panels aka Obamacare, which is aferall only about rationing of healthcare, they give actual assault weapons (fully automatic, not just similar in appearance) to narco-terrorists, they arguably cause mass shooting incidents both by preventing law-abiding citizens from arming themselves and through the left-arm of the Democat party (mainstream media) which glamorizes these mass shooting incidents. Right now, the next nut case is planning his or her last stand, hoping to cause a greater body count than at my alma mater, VA Tech. They know that the Jurassic Media will publicize every last aspect of their pathetic life. They will literally make history.
So let me get this right…..these low-lifes want to counter gun violence by committing MORE gun violence. Yeah, ok. I have been saying that it is almost time…….perhaps that time has come.

That means that not only is he a local blogger of some note, a precinct chair and a federal employee with a security clearance with a history of being suspended from his job for violating federal law, he is ALSO one of the top leaders of the Democrat Party in Texas. As such, we have to raise the question of whether or not his words are condoned by the the Texas Democrat Party.
And if so, is his party collaborators in threats of mass murder and treason.

Greg this is chilling is it not? As pct chairs and/or Exec Committee chairs, one would think that we would be expected to show some decorum publicly – no matter what party we belong to. As a NASA employee, that certainly is expected. I don't know the guy (don't want to either) so thanks for the education for those of us less informed. I'll do my best to always steer clear of him…(been doing a pretty good job of it apparently!)

The day is coming when some will try to turn those threats to action. Remember; virtually every mass murderer or thwarted one in recent memory has had either ties to leftist organizations or was the young product of the obscene pop culture that the liberal establishment has forced upon us. I take these threats seriously. All of us need to prepare to defend ourselves, our homes and our loved ones on a moment's notice. They don't hate us for what happened in Newtown, for that was perpetrated by one of their own and plays into their hands politically. What they hate are free American citizens who reject government dependency, understand the necessity of the 2nd Amendment and defend themselves and the Constitution. While we remain free, their agenda cannot advance.
Just substitute the President or Obama or _______for NRA in his comments and see how much scrutiny shows up on John Cobarruvias’ door.
That's exactly right. I don't remember who said it, but, the second ammendment is not about duck hunting. Our founding fathers were afraid of tyranny and knew that the greatest defense against it was an armed populace. In the well known words of Thomas Jefferson, "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."
The Left is the source of the murderous violence that has slowly eaten away at the foundations of our great nation. Anger and Hatred against our founding principles, our belief in God, our democracy, our free-enterprise capitalism, our belief in self-reliance, self-government and individual responsibility. Now is the time. Let’s talk. We have a problem in this city. And not talking about it is making it worse. Somehow we have reached a tipping point. My neighbor’s aircondioner stopped working because of squirrels and it cost him almost two hundred dollars to repair. Thousands of dollars are spent each year due to squirrel damage. Fortunately, there is something we can do about it. Let’s have neighborhood squirrel hunts. The men from the neighborhood will get together, liberals and conservatives, and go on a safe neighborhood ‘fall harvest with single shot pellet guns’. The gals will be back at the community center preparing sides and desserts. It’s a good time of year to have a feast. When the guys come back with the game, the folks will welcome them with hearty ‘at a boys’ all around. No booze allowed, this will be a family dinner. The gals can cook the squirrel with recipes from Nana’s old cookbook that has been handed down from generation to generation. The NRA crowd w ill love it because pellet gun sale will skyrocket. The liberals will go for it because some of the food from the event will be used to feed the homeless. It will be an opportunity to talk openly and respectfully about guns. It will also be good food. Here’s one of my favorite recipes:
Squirrel Stew
~ 3 squirrels, cleaned and cut up
~ 1/4 cup all purpose flour
~ 1 teaspoon salt
~ 1/2 teaspoon pepper
~ 2 slices bacon
~ 2 tablespoons butter
~ 5 cups of water
~ 1 – 28 oz can whole tomatoes
~ 1 chopped onion
~ 1 heaping tablespoon of brown sugar
~ 2 potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
~ 1 – 10 oz package frozen lima beans
~ 1 cup frozen corn
~ 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
Combine 1/4 cup flour, salt and pepper. Coat the squirrel pieces.
In a Dutch oven, combine bacon and butter over medium heat until butter melts. Add squirrel and brown.
Add water, tomatoes, onion and brown sugar and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Remove squirrel pieces and let cool. Remove meat from bones.
Add meat, potatoes, beans and corn to Dutch oven. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and cover. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
Mix 3 tablespoons of flour with 3 tablespoons of cold water, then stir into stew. Heat to boiling.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, bubbly.
Serve with warm rolls and enjoy!
Here’s another squirrel recipe. Do not hate.
Squirrel Dumplings
~ 3 squirrels, cut up (All hair and pellets removed.)
~ 1 egg
~ 2 cups plain flour
~ 3/4 cup broth
~ 1 teaspoon salt
~ salt and pepper
Boil squirrels in four quarts of water until tender. Remove squirrels from broth, let cool, then remove meat from bones. Set aside.
In large bowl, mix flour, egg and one teaspoon of salt with 3/4 cup of broth and roll into ball.
Strain the broth to remove any stray shot then resume boil. Return meat to boiling broth.
On a floured cutting board, use rolling pin to roll the dough ball to a thickness of 1/16 inch. Cut into 1-inch wide strips and drop strips one at a time into the boiling broth. Gently shake pot after last dumpling is added to prevent sticking.
Cook approximately 10-15 minutes until dumplings are tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and Enjoy!
