It’s on occasions such as these I acknowledge appreciation of the Houston Chronicle. In the context of this article on Ben Hall’s challenge of Mayor Parker in the City of Houston Mayoral race, Mike Morris of the Chronicle writes John Weaver, a veteran of four Presidential bids, joined Hall’s team as campaign manager. Ben Hall hired Weaver to replace former HCRP Executive Director Jeff Yates. Mike’s simply fabulous quote from Allen Blakemore just has to be shared:

No doubt the feckless Blakemore failed to learn from his own rookie mistake when he confused Texas with Arizona and thought helping TX Senator Wendy Davis get Facebook “likes”. was a stroke of genius.
