Said “newsletter” often contains half-truths, rumors, and innuendo that is, in my opinion, designed to scare voters away from a particular candidate and to one that is “endorsed”. Those that are “endorsed” are often the same as those that have purchased advertisements in the “newsletter” or on Mr. Lowry’s “religious” radio show, The What’s Up Radio Program. A radio program with the underlying theology, in my opinion, of “Make a Buck Off the Cross”. Or “Treat your fellow man nice on Sunday but by Gawd come Tuesday, let’s tear ’em apart!”.
Without further ado, here is a list of those politicians that have supported him this election cycle:

Notice that most of those are judicial positions, where there is very little interest in the public square, so the candidates are doing whatever they can to get people to go down the ballot and vote. In my opinion, anyone that funds Mr. Lowry doesn’t deserve to be elected, as they are contributing to the demise of the Republican Party. That total of $83,000 is well below his usual expectations so I’m certain that the eight day out reports will have more and I’ll update at that time.
More important to me, they are funding a man that distorts my faith. Christianity is, above all, about God’s love for his creation – all of his creation, not just the people that look, act, and believe like Mr. Lowry. The type of theology that Mr. Lowry espouses daily turns people away from Christ and makes a mockery of the cross. In my opinion.
I fully realize that people disagree with me about this. That’s fine, do with the information what you will (clicking on the name takes you to the actual report). In each of those races, with the possible exception of Mr. Lombardino in the 308th, there are qualified alternatives. In the 308th, Mr. Lombardino is clearly the most qualified, so please remember that when you vote. And as far as shear personality goes, I can’t think of a candidate that is more pleasant on the campaign trail than Sheri Y. Dean – I just plain like her and wish she wasn’t a long time supporter of Mr. Lowry.
As for Mr. Woodfill, not only has he given Mr. Lowry tens of thousands of dollars over the years, he has put him in a leadership role in the Harris County Republican Party. That is precisely the type of decision making that requires us to elect new leadership this year.
As I said, do with it what you will. You will be receiving a copy of the Link Letter any day now – ask yourself, if this is really a “newsletter”, why isn’t it proudly displayed online?
