This is a horrible proposal.
REDUCING the Audit trail is the WRONG direction.
We need a permanent audit trail that cannot be falsified.

DITTO!
As an accountant, I stress the necessity of an Audit Trail. Without it, it’s too easy to “cook the books”. Especially in this election, it is important to be as open as possible to attempt to restore the public’s faith in government. A paper trail goes a long way toward “Open Government” and an honest election.

Sure it does and when your union rep asks to see how you voted you be sure to tell them who came up with this brainless idea.
