Well, this is getting fun. Sorry I’m a couple of days late with this but a kind reader sends this in:
In case you don’t know, Gayle Fallon is the long, long, long time President of the Houston Federation of Teachers.
So what we have here is a good old fashioned union war.
On the one hand, the police unions support the appointed, interim Harris County DA Devon Anderson. Because, you know, she lets cops off the hook when they do bad things.
On the other hand, the teacher’s union is balking because the appointed, interim Harris County DA Devon Anderson is wasting taxpayer resources on a “war on teachers” because the HISD administration can’t handle test monitoring.
Who do you think will represent the taxpayers and citizens of Harris County more efficiently and fairly?
I think Kim Ogg.
BTW, did you know that the police union also endorsed State Rep. Ron Reynolds? You know, the state rep that is currently under indictment and awaiting trial on 10 counts of third degree felony charges?
That should tell you something about the police union, no?
Yes.
