This is certain to make the heads of self-described constitutionalists and libertarians in Texas CD-36 explode. From the InBox:
Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) issued the following statement today in support of President Trump’s targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where a deadly chemical weapons attack was launched on innocent civilians, including women and children:
“The tyrants and dictators around the world better take notice that for the first time in eight years we have a strong and decisive commander-in-chief in the White House. Syrian Dictator Bashar al-Assad’s barbaric use of chemical weapons on innocent men, women, and children must be met with consequences. As a father and grandfather, it is heart wrenching to see the use of chemical weapons on young children. I commend the President for his firm leadership and making clear to Assad and the entire world that such evil will not be tolerated. American leadership is back and it is high time.”

It is interesting watching people from both sides get offended by the fact that President Trump JUST SAID NO to chemical warfare.
We are REAL MEN! We have no need for sissified AUMFs. USC Art 1 sec 8 was written by a homosexual. USC Art 3 sec 2 does not say that Our President cannot, in the grandest style, express his hegemonious aspirations as inspired by cable-TV punditos. And if the Constitution does not say that the President cannot bomb the shit out of anyone he damn well pleases, then he can!
Mr. Bryan,
You make very little sense. I get it, you don’t like Republicans or Trump. And apparently you like dictators that use chemical weapons on people. If I might make a suggestion, your views might be more appropriate somewhere else.

Huh? You say Art. 1, Sec. 8 was written by a homosexual. What’s that got to do with anything? If you’re implying that homosexuals are sissies, I’ve got news for you! While I am not Gay, I do know several homosexuals who could beat the living shit out of you with one hand tied behind their backs.
This comment raises the definition of idiotic to a whole new level. I would try to respond Mr. Bryan, but there isn’t a coherent statement here to merit a response. I’d suggest a remedial writing course.
In the meantime if you are a median example of the alt-right world, the rest of us have little to worry about.
