Thanks for bringing up this great support for our police.
Don Hooper says
Thank you Papa John’s for supporting the Greenwood family. All of us from Big Jolly Politics could not be more grateful.

I suspect that this worked better than anybody could have even fantasized about. My local Papa Johns was running 3 1/2 hours behind due to the influx of orders. They finally had to stop taking them because their ovens could not keep up with the volume!

Wonder if they have a decent pension? Our civic clubs donates $2,000 a year to police officers and do the same for the firemen and women of Houston.
Don Hooper says
The County has a hy-brid system, a cross between defined benefit and defined contribution. There is no drop account like the one containing 3 million dollars held by a police officer lobbyist. The difference is obviously the County system is fully funded. I am glad you brought it up.

Thanks, the question do they have a decent pension was not answered. Will the family of the slain officer be able to manage? We, our Civic Club, I am the president firmly believe that the men that we depend on for emergencies know that we care all the time.
How long has that police officer lobbyist been with the police force? What was is his rank? I know a retired lt. who had almost 50 years in the police force and he did not have 3 million in a drop account (not even close). It is easy to scare people when one only gives the largest number available. What is the least amount that a police officer has in his drop account? I know a patrol officer that retired with 45 years of service and he is no where close to even a million dollars in drop.

Neither,
Thank you, Let me do some investigating. I believe there is a movement afoot to do another event in Clint Greeneood’s honor.
Again, thank you for supporting our officers!
