Texas Democrats and the low-information voters who support them “faux outrage” over Texas Senator John Cornyn’s vote on “immigration reform” doesn’t fool me and it shouldn’t fool you either. They know full well Cornyn’s 2008 campaign manager & former National Republican Senatorial Committee Executive Director Rob Jesmer is also running FWD.us, the tech-funded group pushing for “immigration reform”.
Via HuffPo:
“FWD.us, the tech-funded group pushing for immigration reform, has tens of millions of dollars pledged to the fight. Rob Jesmer runs FWD’s D.C. operations as its campaign manager. He was the executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee for the 2012 cycle, meaning he was in charge of electing and reelecting Senate Republicans, reporting to both Cornyn and McConnell. He ran Cornyn’s 2008 campaign and is now a partner with FP1 Strategies, which represents Cornyn.”
A very wise man once told me to always follow the money and the consultants directing the campaigns.
BTW, Rob Jesmer also worked on John McCain’s 2008 Presidential campaign.

Yes, and still Senator Cornyn voted against comprehensive immigration reform, despite what he really wanted to do. The election of Senator Cruz has scared Cornyn and made him more conservative.
He might also be hearing footsteps from the newly-proposed Freedom Party, to replace the GOP.
Liz Theiss says
yes. His first vote tells it all.
