Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are two Democratic freshman members of Congress and the first Muslim women elected to the House of Representatives. Tlaib is a Palestinian born and raised in Detroit. Omar is an immigrant from Somalia. There have been unverified accusations that t Omar committed immigration fraud by claiming to be a member of another Somali family that had been granted asylum, and that she married her own biological brother in order to bring him into the U.S.
Omar and Tlaib, together with Ayanna Pressley, make up what has been deemed AOC’s squad. The squad of uber-left crazies is being referred to as the new face of the Democratic Party. Columnist Piers Morgan described the squad as “Shrieking Socialist Snowflake Sisters.”
Both Omar and Tlaib have a history of making anti-Semitic and anti- Israel statements, both before and since being elected to Congress. Both are strong backers of the BDS movement which seeks to destroy the Jewish state.
In February, Omar tweeted: “It’s all about the Benjamins baby” in claiming that members of the House and Senate were controlled by Jewish money. That was a blatant anti-Semitic statement which even Omar’s supporters recognized as such. When Omar was condemned for it, Bernie Sanders, a Jewish enemy of Israel, was among the first to rush to her defense. And the Democrat controlled House refused calls for a resolution condemning Omar’s anti-Semitism, passing instead a watered-down resolution condemning anti-Semitism.
When Omar and Tlaib wanted to visit Israel and the West Bank this month, Israel’s Interior Ministry barred them from entering the Jewish state. It is said that the Netanyahu government was pressured by Trump into denying entry to the two congresswomen. Trump did make several statements in support of barring Omar and Tlaib, saying in one of those statements, “It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds.”
In contrast, House speaker Nancy Pelosi called the barring of Omar and Tlaib “a sign of weakness, and beneath the dignity of the great State of Israel.” Almost all Democratic members of Congress, including those that are Jewish, condemned Israel and threatened that it would harm US-Israel relations if the ban was not reversed.
Israel sort of caved into the threats after receiving Tlaib’s tear-jerking plea that if she were not allowed to enter Israel, she might never see her 90-year old ‘sitty’ (grandmother) again. Israel responded by allowing her to enter with the caveat that she not make any political statements or participate in any political events while in Israel or in the West Bank.
At first Tlaib promised to abide by the caveat, but when she was criticized by Palestinians for promising to do so, she quickly changed her mind and announced she would not go to Israel under those conditions. She tweeted: “When I won, it gave the Palestinian people hope that someone will finally speak the truth about the inhumane conditions. I can’t allow the State of Israel to take away that light by humiliating me & use my love for my sitty to bow down to their oppressive & racist policies. Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in–fighting against racism, oppression & injustice.
Tlaib exposed herself to be a fraud. Her tear-jerking plea was an outright lie. Talib’s real purpose was not to visit her grandmother, but to make a public spectacle of condemning Israel’s ‘inhumanity’ as she calls it.
Now what about those Democratic threats? In trying to woo the Islamic world, President Obama became the most Israel-unfriendly president in the history of the Jewish state. Obama and Netanyahu just plain hated each other. By contrast President Trump and Netanyahu seem to be good friends and Trump has been the most Israel-friendly president in Israel’s history. Trump has recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s eternal capital and has moved our embassy there from Tel Aviv. Trump has also recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
If Trump is defeated next year look for US-Israel relations to sour under a Democratic administration, the Tlaib and Omar ban notwithstanding. A Democratic president might even move our embassy back to Tel Aviv. And Bernie Sanders has threatened to cut our aid to Israel if the Jewish state does not end its ‘racism’.
When Tlaib changed her mind, Trump tweeted: “Rep. Tlaib wrote a letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother. Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval down, a complete set-up. The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She does not have to see her now!”
Muftia Tlaib, Rashida Tlaib’s grandmother, responded to the president’s tweet by saying “Trump tells me I should be happy Rashida is not coming — May God ruin him!”
If Trump loses in 2020 or suffers a debilitating health issue, it will be because of the “May God ruin him” curse Tlaib’s grandmother put on him. Old sitty’s hex might even bring on a recession next year which will surely ruin Trump.
Let’s hope that if God ruins anyone, it will be Tlaib and Omar together with some other Democrats like Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and AOC, but not Trump!

Rashida hates Jews more than she loves her nana. I wonder where she learned that hate from. Based on nana’s response, it looks like she learned it from her family, as is the custom in that part of the world.
Also, I think the exact quote called for Allah to ruin Trump, not the capital G, one true God, so I’m not worried about the hex of a bitter, hateful shrew. I actually feel a little bit bad for nana, because that black hate in her heart? She no doubt learned that from HER parents and her nana. Cycle of hate.

Ilhan Omar is from Somalia, not Ethiopia.
