Or does he? At yesterday’s Downtown Houston Pachyderm Meeting, a woman named Glorice McPherson was in attendance and announced that she was running against Jack Morman in the primary. Seemed odd that anyone would challenge him because all in all, he’s done a superb job in his first term as County Commissioner of Precinct 2.
Doing a Google search on her name turns up a website, Glorice4cc.com, which features pictures of her with Houston Mayor Annise Parker and former Harris County Democratic Party Chair Gerry Birnberg. We also find out that she ran against and lost to Precinct 3 Commissioner Steve Radack last year.
She might have lost but I love her qualifications!

Sounds like a formidable challenger!
But wait! There’s more!
On a day when BigDog wasn’t consumed with Dave Wilson, he mentioned in a post about Democrats on the ballot next year that she was gathering signatures to run for County Commissioner Precinct 2. But notice he didn’t specifically say that she was running as a Democrat. Hmm.
Maybe she’s trying a little bit of Dave Wilson’s technique. Only this time, instead of pretending she’s a different race, she’ll pretend to be a Republican! Stealthy, isn’t it? Um, hum.
She had quite the speech yesterday when she introduced herself:
See why I go to the Downtown Pach meetings whenever I can?
