A GOP convention delegate was detained by Fort Worth police after convention attendees witnessed a second grade teacher shoved from the speaker line during the recent RPT immigration platform debate. On Friday June 6th pro-illegal immigration advocate Norm Adams sent an email to unknown RPT convention attendees and supporters. The first two sentences of the email read:
“I am at the Texas Republican Party Convention in Ft. Worth. If you are here, you know how much fun I am having.”
On Saturday June 7th, the Texas Nationalist Movement reported Adams had been escorted from the convention floor after shoving a second grade school teacher from the front of the platform speaker sign-up line:
“Norm Adams, a pro-illegal immigration lobbyist for Texas Solution, had to be escorted from the Republican Party of Texas convention floor and detained by Fort Worth police after shoving a second grade teacher and TNM member from the front of the line to sign up to speak on platform issues.”
“I was writing my name to the list and was shoved to the wall by Mr. Adams. It really upset me.” Tammy Brogdon, a delegate from SD3 said. “He came barging in and hit me into the wall and then grabbed the sign-up sheet off the wall,” she said.
Witnesses were livid and came to her rescue.
“I’m considering pressing charges but am trying to concentrate on Texas independence right now.”
Mrs. Brogdon is one of a number of Texas Nationalists from across Texas pushing a platform amendment which states that “we urge the state of Texas to hold a vote asking the people of Texas to decide on whether or not the State of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation.”
TNM President Miller said, “These are the types of underhanded brutish tactics that we have come to expect from our opposition but rest assured that we will support Mrs. Brogdon if she chooses to press charges on this thug.”
No word on how much fun Mr. Adams had as he was questioned by police.
I think charges should definitely be filed. Pushing his weight around is certainly nothing new for Adams.

Terry Lowry shoved me several times to keep me from getting to the microphone during the HCRP Executive Committee meeting back in February. I refrained from calling the cops on the old Pharisee because I decided to tough it out. Apparently the folks from the TNM are just a bunch of wusses.

Apparently you have no idea what you are talking about. If assaulting a woman, in your book, is an ok thing and makes you a wuss for notifying the police, you have serious issues.
Sorry the true wuss is the person that feels it is necessary to abuse a woman, or a person that defends the abuser ! Also I heard there was another woman he attacked prior to that incident! Apparently some GOP feel they are above all the rules. That is why our party is suffering so much
There is NO EXCUSE for laying hands on a woman. None. But a Coward always goes and attacks those he thinks are week.
I have news for you all of the Texas Solution people except for the Mayor/ lawyer thought they were above the rules! I stood at the mic on the other side of the convention hall, I was stomped on and pushed, they were line cutting and rude. I literally have bruises left from attempting to speak in the Republican Convention! They did not listen to the Sargent at arms! My vote was against them in part due to their attitudes. Though I realized what a bad bill this was for Texas ! And if we don’t do something soon we are going to have serious health issues in Texas! Literally thousands are crossing the border with infectious diseases! Sometimes laws and rules are made for a reason !
Perhaps the “wusses” are those who continue to allow political elites to get away with breaking the law and other unacceptable behavior. That is exactly what politicians, corporations, lobbyist, and the like, count on; knowing they will not be held accountable for their words or actions.
The sheeple will not stand up and say, “NO MORE.” How is that working out for Texas and America?

Tammy Brogdon is a tiny little fuzzball and deserved to be respected as a woman. I am personally incensed by this but at least Norm Adams lost a lot of money and did not unlimited immigration.
Norman Adams is a bully, control freak, and has a meth-like addiction to getting attention. This doesn’t surprise me at all.
By some of the comments, it doesn’t look like Norm will winning any popularity contests anytime soon. glad to see other people recognize him for the sleeze he is.
Aside from Norm’s bullying antics on Saturday, which led to him being escorted off the floor by 2 police officers, he was also led away by 2 police officers on Friday when he went beyond the roped area and came too close to the stage as Attorney General Greg Abbott was leaving the stage. This was personally viewed by my husband – we had front row seats! He does seem to be a menace.
I think Norm has finally lost it. I guess the defeat of his precious Texas Solution was too much for him.
Honestly, This disturbs me to no end. A really Tough Guy. Touching a woman. Where I am from that makes him a coward. What kind of sickness drives people like him? his Friends and Allies are not much better, I guess as they say birds of a feather flock together. It is Funny I have found when sometimes speaking to the TNM people the are nice and respectful, but when you come to “Pro Immigration” people that if you disagree with them you are a such and such. and they get hostile.

My daddy raised me to protect myself and I wouldn’t have cared if he was an old man or not. Shove me and there would have been two people being escorted off the premises. Since when is it OK to shove a woman because you don’t want them to talk?!? The old saying “It’s not weak to turn the other cheek but sometimes you gotta fight when you’re a man” (in this case a woman). To me it sounds like someone finally had the backbone to stand up to him and put him in his place after all these years that people have been letting him get away with it!
