On November 17th, I wrote this piece about Houston United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 455, along with other UFCW affiliates in New Jersey and Kentucky receiving favored status from the Obama Administration in the form of Obamacare waivers. At that time, 111 entities were granted one year exemptions.
The list has now grown to over 730 entities.
Even state plans like those in Massachusetts, New Jersey , Ohio and Tennessee have been added to the list.
Appraisal districts like the Nueces County, Texas Appraisal District have been granted a waiver for 77 enrollees.
One entity, the American National Life Insurance Company of Texas has been granted a waiver from Obamacare.
There is ONE enrollee at that entity. One.
And ironically a Baylor County HOSPITAL District sought and obtained a waiver for 208 enrollees.
Notice how LIFE INSURANCE companies, appraisals districts, and CITIES, in addition to unions, have requested protection from, err waivers from Obamacare?
A road to repeal…
