Fort Bend ISD has scheduled two public hearings for parents and taxpayers to comment & learn more about the proposed 2014 bond election.
The two public meetings, as announced by Fort Bend ISD, will be held on August 4th and August 12th at the Fort Bend ISD Administrative Annex, Main Auditorium, 3119 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, TX from 7:00-9:00 pm.
The Fort Bend ISD Capital Plan $494 million phase 1 draft proposal as of July 21, 2014 includes new construction, classroom additions and other deficiencies of $364 million, a safety and security component of $30 million, a transportation component (bus cameras, GPS and bus replacement) of $15million, a technology (including Internet infrastructure, data center facilities, wireless network deployment, phone systems upgrade) module of $ 39 million and land & bond support of $44 million.
