It is really sad to see a President who accomplished much good turn into a delusional lunatic. Columnist Piers Morgan says “As someone who likes him personally and sees many qualities in him that his enemies refuse to admit exist, it’s increasingly sad and pathetic to watch.”
Ever since November 3, Trump has let loose a barrage of tweets in which he referred to conspiracy theories that claimed the election was stolen from him.
On Sunday, during an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, the President really went off the rails. Trump accused the FBI and the Department of Justice of “maybe” being involved in a “total” voter fraud. Trump also claimed that “most Democrats” believe Biden won because of “election fraud”
The FBI and DOJ helped rig the election in favor of Biden? Most Democrats believe Biden won because of voter fraud? That’s simply batshit crazy.
Trump now claims he actually won the election by a landslide.
Was there voter fraud in the election? Of course there was. There is voter fraud in every election. But was the voter fraud so massive that it stole the election from Trump? There simply is no evidence of that.
Some 30 lawsuits have been filed in state and federal courts seeking to have the election results overturned. Almost all of them have been dismissed for lack of evidence. In one suit, Justice David Wechtof the Pennsylvania Supreme Court wrote, “They have failed to allege that even a single mail-in ballot was fraudulently cast or counted.” And in another suit, Federal Appeals Court Judge Stephanos Bibas wrote, “Calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here.”
Christopher Krebs was director of DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency before Trump fired him for failing to back the President’s stolen election claims. Krebs says “We can go on and on with all the farcical claims that– alleging– interference in the 2020 election, but the proof is in the ballots. The recounts are consistent with the initial count, and to me, that’s further evidence, that’s confirmation that the systems used in the 2020 election performed as expected, and the American people should have 100% confidence in their vote.”
Trump and those who believe his conspiracy theories about election fraud, badly need a dose of reality. On December 14 the electoral college will declare Biden the winner of the presidential election. And on January 20 their worst nightmare, including mine, will come true with the inauguration of Biden as President and as Vice President the woman who is only a heartbeat away from the presidency.
And instead of Trump being recognized as the president who made America great again, historians will describe him as a man who became a lunatic during the last weeks of his presidency.
There are hundreds of affidavits, from people who saw fraud first hand, who were prevented from watching to see that fraud did not occur, and from computer jocks who can demonstrate a computer algorithm used to change Trump votes to Biden votes. So when you repeat the MSM talking point of “no evidence of fraud,” Howie, you’re either lying or you’ve been taken in by those that ARE lying. Affidavits, under penalty of perjury….hey, that’s evidence, Howie. As an ex LEO, you should know that. Did you never sign an affidavit that you witnessed someone break the law? Never signed an affidavit that you confiscated drugs from a suspect? Was that not evidence?
Next, ask yourself an obvious question. I saw this example somewhere else, so I’m not claiming the example as my own, but it’s a good one. Did you ever see the Star Trek movie where Spock’s brother hijacks the Enterprise to go be close to god? Everybody seems to go along with the premise that yes, the powerful being that summoned them there to bring the being the Enterprise is the real thing, is really god.
Ever practical Kirk asks, “What does God need with a starship?” Well gee, what do voting machines need with an algorithm? Seems like you count votes by adding up how many votes each candidate got….no algorithm needed….unless you want to do something wonky with the results. THEN you need an algorithm.
Yes there was fraud, from Sheila Jackson Lee and Ilhan Said el Nursi paying people for ballots as caught on tape by Project Veritas, to middle of the night ballot dumps after sending the R poll watchers home, etc. You should want all the allegations of fraud fully investigated NOW, not “we need to do better in the future.”
And if the worst should happen, and Trump does not prevail, I hope he goes full gonzo and burns the whole friggen’ place down. Declassify everything. Fire anyone and everyone he can within the DoJ and FBI. Use the Insurrection Act to have the military go after the coup plotters. It’s now or never. If this stolen election is allowed to stand, there will never be a fair election ever again. Why would there be, when there is zero consequence for cheating?
But it ain’t over yet, Howie. The fat lady hasn’t started singing yet. Have faith.
Bill, affidavits are only credible if there is other compelling evidence to back them up. For instance, when I signed an affidavit for a narcotic search warrant, I also had evidence of heroin obtained from the suspect by an undercover officer. Or if the affidavit was based on what a confidential informant told me, I would have to swear he had a prior history of providing me with reliable information..
All those affidavits you have mentioned are not backed up by any compelling evidence of voter fraud. The witnesses are not law enforcement officers or informants with a prior history of giving reliable information to the police. Thus their affidavits are not credible. That’s why those 30 some lawsuits have been dismissed by the courts.
Wake up Bill! It won’t matter when or what the fat lady sings … except for more wailing by Trump and babbling by conspiracy theorists, it’s over.

You sir, In my opinion are a devoted Never-Trumper and closet liberal. Move on. How many times can you bash President Trump? I usually enjoy your blogs but this never ending Never-Trump is getting stale.
Howie’s gone mad being shut in with his poodle. He gets his news from Yahoo! and other journ-o-listers and is not aware of any of the hearings taking place.
His politics are left of John Kasich so he’s an expert on stuff nobody else cares about.
He admits there’s voter fraud but can’t stand the idea of quantifying it.
He seems eager to embrace the socialism that the dems are bringing with them.
I especially like his hard scrabble back story of fleeing a totalitarian nation with his parents. I wonder what they’d think of his rants against the most conservative president we’ve had since Reagan.
Trump has been hounded by what he legitimately believes to be bullshit political attacks since before he was inaugurated. It would be odd if he did NOT think he was getting screwed over in this election. He is also not wrong when he says the mail-out, mail-back ballot system is rife with the potential of fraud. There is no doubt in my mind there were thousands, maybe tens of thousands of individual instances of fraud, i.e. recently-deceased grandpa’s ballot being filled in “for him” and mailed in because his grandchild just KNEW he wouldn’t have voted for Trump. It seems that it is VERY LIKELY that there was at least some commercial harvesting of “no longer at this address” abandoned ballots, which is illegal in most states. The degree of organization behind this is an open question, as is whether or not there are enough questionable votes to tilt the election. Unfortunately the combination of the plague and the rabid polarization of the electorate creates a unique situation in which many of the traditional metrics may not apply. I do admit to being dubious when a few thousand votes are “found” in a back room and they are 90% percent for Biden. It will be really interesting to see how much bullshit happens in the upcoming Georgia senate races.
Heavens knows that I’ve had my disagreements with Howie over the last few months. And, I’m certainly not going to disagree with the assessment of him as a “never Trumper”. But, I’ve got to say this – if he and his allies convince Georgia Republicans not to vote in the upcoming runoffs, it’s liable to cost the Republicans control of the Senate. If that happens the name “Trump” will go down in history as anathema. He won’t be “the most conservative president since Reagan” he’ll be the most self-absorbed, egotistical, short-sighted fool to ever occupy the office.
