Briscoe Cain, a candidate for State Representative in District 129 today received the endorsement of Rep. Matt Krause, ranked the third most conservative representative by a non-partisan Rice University study.

Krause was enthusiastic in his endorsement, writing:

“Briscoe Cain is a candidate with solid conservative credentials and tightly held principles that would make a great representative down in Austin. He has fought tirelessly to protect human life and religious liberty in the courtroom. He understands the proper constitutional limits on government and I would be honored to work alongside him in the 84th session to continue to advance and defend the principles of liberty that has made Texas the greatest state in the country. Join me in supporting Briscoe Cain for State Representative!”

Cain has the strongest endorsement list of any candidate in his race.

Cain is also the only candidate with actual legislative experience; helping to draft bills and working with legislators to advance specific items, e.g. the Merry Christmas bill.
