Gotta love Sen. Dan Patrick’s crack consultant, Allen Blakemore. First he gets the title of Dannie’s book wrong. Then he helps Sen. Wendy Davis gather “Likes” on Facebook. In today’s episode, he “helps” Dannie make the case that the Texas border isn’t secure (click to enlarge):
Yikes! That really is a bad story that Dannie references in his Facebook post. I read it the other day – cross border shooting? Not good.
The thing is, the picture that those crack consultants over in Blakemore’s office on Richmond Ave. in Houston used a picture from Wikimedia.org and cropped it. It was taken in….um, not Texas but Nogales, Arizona! What, no pictures of Texas borders were available for free?
I’m sure that Dannie will forgive Blakemore because he didn’t hire him for accuracy. Nope, accuracy is not in Blakemore’s wheelhouse. Dirt and slime? He’s your man!
I just shake my head. Lazy work indeed. No excuse for this.
I’ve been furiously busy up here in Hades-on-the-Hudson trying, like all get out, to prevent these hellions and heathens from escaping to seek refuge on the South Coast. My strenuous efforts continue unrecognized and tragically unappreciated.
All things considered and discarded, David Jennings has reserved a special place in his heart for Helen Thomas, lo these may years, and now that she has crossed that River (news reports fail to indicate which one – Styx, Jordan, Potomac, Brazos ?) her legacy must live on.
