There are a couple of can’t miss meetings this week in Harris County for those of us that are interested in the Harris County Republican Party primary.
First, my fave club, the Downtown Houston Pachyderms, will be hosting Barry Smitherman, candidate for Attorney General. As usual, the meeting will be held Thursday at noon at the Spaghetti Warehouse. Click here for a map.
The second one looks very promising. I haven’t been to a Cypress Tea Party meeting yet, so this will be my first, but I’ve heard a lot about them. Check out this lineup:
- Dan Patrick, Candidate for Lt. Governor
- Dan Branch, Candidate for Texas Attorney General
- Malachi Boyuls, Candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner
- Sid Miller, Candidate for Agriculture Commissioner
- David Watts, Candidate for Texas Land Commissioner
- Bennett Steil, Candidate for US Senator
That’s a heavyweight list. It’s early in the race but there are a couple of potential primary winners on that list. You need to get out and meet these candidates so that you can be the influencer of your block, neighborhood, or church.
Details of that meeting:
Saturday, January 4th, Noon until 2:00 PM at:
Spring Creek BBQ
25831 Northwest Freeway
Cypress, Texas 77429
