I know it is hard when your hormones are raging and you can’t do anything about it. Well, except, you know. But even raging hormones are no excuse for the kid over at Burnt Orange Report attacking Jerry Patterson, who served 24 years in the Marines.
You probably recall Ben Sherman. He’s the college kid that worries about females refusing to have sex with him if abortions are restricted. The fact that they already refuse to have sex with him only increases his frustrations and limits his ability to think things through.
In his latest idiotic missive, he says that Jerry Patterson is “anti-American” because he made a joke about kicking liberal states out of the union instead of Texas seceding. And then the insecure college kid says this:
The insecurity-ridden Patterson
Good grief, where do they find these imbeciles? No wonder Republicans continue to win statewide. What an idiot.
Oh, and that picture he’s using? Without asking me for permission or crediting me? And using my bandwidth? This is what happens.

Enjoy!
When you said "kid in puberty" I thought you were talking about one of his opponents. 🙂
You seem to take an awfully specific interest in this young man's sex life…
Good job Jolly! I laughed so hard I dropped my bong.
Heh, yeah, in the way I take notice of a train wreck. Dude wrote that he wanted more abortions because he thought it gave him a better chance to get some honey. Can't make stuff like that up.
Love it!
BTW — I thought liberals believed that it was un-American to question somebody's patriotism just because you disagree with their political stance, especially if it constituted dissent from the policies and beliefs of the president. Or is that only if one is questioning the patriotism of a liberal dissenting from a GOP president and supporting terrorists?
Not at all, Noah — especially since it does not exist.
Dan Patrick only acts like a kid in puberty — Eddie Haskell
Assuming he was serious, that would be the most pathetic pro-choice argument I’ve ever heard. I’m slightly reminded of a scene from Kevin Smith’s ‘Dogma’ where Jay & Silent Bob explain that they were hanging out at an abortion clinic to increase their chances of finding willing women.
[Memo to self: Never steal Jolly’s bandwith!]
Bob, not only was he serious, he made a followup post saying “right wingers” didn’t like the post because they don’t like sex. Bizarro dude, that one.

I can’t remember the last time I read anything at BOR before your post. They tend to sensationalize. The kid actually makes some factual observations but takes it a bridge too far by suggesting that “right wingers” don’t enjoy sex. He lost all credibility in doing so. If he wanted to drive home his apparent point that social conservatives overly concern themselves with the sex lives of others, all he needed to do was count the number of times sexuality is mentioned in the Texas Republican Party Platform.
