It's a Kubosh conspiracy!

The bloggers o’ the left in Houston have always cracked me up. They’re sanctimonious and spend so much time pretending to be intellectuals that they can’t get basic facts right. The latest example comes from Greg Wythe, who fancies himself an expert on statistics and such. But he can’t seem to do basic research before getting hysterical over a tweet by another left-winger.

Vidor doesn’t even get the right Kubosh – Paul isn’t running for council, Mike is. BTW, did you notice that the one retweet of the erroneous tweet was from a Houston Chronicle editorial writer? Says a lot, no? But I digress.’

Greg saw the tweet, linked to it, and declared:

UPDATE: Courtesy of Erik Vidor, here’s a questionable “contribution” to Michael Kubosh’s campaign:

Featuring the tweet above. Then Paul Kubosh asks Greg,

Ahhhhh….enlighten us. What is questionable?

To which Greg responds:

I think most folks who follow this sort of news recognize the obviousness of a $72,000 contribution exceeding the legal limit.

But Greg doesn’t leave it at that unfortunate mistake. He continues in a separate post:

That comes in as the highest legally-filed totals due to Michael Kubosh reporting a $72,000 contribution from a relative.

Yeah, now he says that Mike’s report isn’t legal.

Hey Greg: Since you are arrogant enough to answer Paul’s question with a “most folks who follow this sort of news recognize the obviousness”, let me ask you something: are “most folks who follow this sort of news” aware that candidates are not restricted on the amount of money they can put into their own campaign?

I thought so. If you would have bothered to take a breath and find out the truth, you would know that Mike’s given name is…wait…hold on…one minute….you guessed it! Felix Michael Kubosh!!!!!

So the next time you see Greg or anyone else on the left criticizing Rice University’s Dr. Mark Jones (you know, the guy with all the letters behind his name and the credibility of being a dean at one of the best universities in the land), ask yourself….self, isn’t it obvious who the clowns are?
