Paul Simpson
Chairman, Harris County Republican Party

Join the Pachyderms as we welcome Chairman of the Harris County Republican Party, Paul Simpson. He will talk about Harris County activity and what is planned for 2020, etc.

Working to elect conservative leaders has been a passion of Paul’s ever since he was in high school. e realized at a young age the best way to have a voice in our democracy was working to elect conservative public officials to office. Working alongside other dedicated volunteers and activists is what inspired him to run for Harris County GOP Chair in 2014.

At Rice University, Paul’s activism for conservative values never wavered. He was active in student government and chaired the Young Republicans. During the summers, in addition to construction and offshore oil field work jobs, he worked for a national conservative organization to recruit and mobilize young people for conservative Republican Congressional campaigns in Michigan and Iowa.

After graduating from Rice with degrees in history and engineering, Paul went to work as an engineer in the oil industry. While working full-time in the oil and gas business, he put himself through law school at night at the University of Houston, graduating with honors.

Paul is married to the love of his life, Kathy, for more than thirty years. They have two children – a son and daughter, who both still live in Houston, are graduates of Franciscan University, and are proud Republicans.

We sometimes have a large crowd, so arrive early during the registration time to assure you get a seat and network (11:30 – noon). Please follow Tony’s dress code of business/business casual attire. GHPC meets at 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday at
Tony’s Restaurant (3755 Richmond).
Program begins at noon and concludes at 1:00 p.m.
