2010 Early Voting Day 6 Ranking
The strong Tea Party areas are maintaining their high turnout.
But what does this mean? Not much. The Texas Tribune is reporting this morning that the latest Rasmussen poll in the governor’s race shows the race tightening. Although the left has derided Rasmussen this cycle, you can bet that they will use this poll to rally their base and try to increase turnout.
So you know what you have to do. Call a family member, friend, or neighbor and get them to the polls. Educate them on the candidates – I voted straight R and crossed over for Democrat Jeff Weems in the Railroad Commish race. There may be candidates on your ballot that are deserving of a crossover vote – for instance, Libertarian Bruce West in CD-8.
Whatever you do, don’t sit home and “hope” for the best. Get out there and make it happen. If you live on the west side, Katy Tea is having a rally today at the Fry Road MUD building. Why not stop by?
Remember, the polls are open today from 1-6 pm and Mon-Fri next week from 7 am – 7 pm.
GO VOTE!
