Here is the breakdown by polling location:
Polling locations ranked by turnout:
2010 Early Voting Day 11 Ranking
And ranked by percentage of total votes cast up or down versus 2008 early voting:
2010 Early Voting Day 11 Ranking by Gain/Loss vs 2008
That last ranking is interesting. What started as a 27{997ab4c1e65fa660c64e6dfea23d436a73c89d6254ad3ae72f887cf583448986} swing is now down to 21.5{997ab4c1e65fa660c64e6dfea23d436a73c89d6254ad3ae72f887cf583448986} and dropping.
I mentioned yesterday that KTRK 13 was at Palm Center chasing down a rumor of a flyer. What a bogus story that turned out to be. Hard to believe that a reporter like Mia Shay would fall for an old trick like that. Republican Justin Jordan was so ticked off about this bogus story that he purchased time on black radio station KCOH and issued a challenge to State Rep. Borris Miles, and Houston City Council members Jolanda Jones and Wanda Adams. From his response to my Facebook note on the bogus story:
David this morning I purchased time on a radio show this morning and offered a $500 reward to anyone with information leading to the person passing them out. I challenged Borris Miles, Councilmember Jones and Adams to match my money. Miles initially said he would put up $1000 to catch them. He never put his money where his mouth was. It is a Democrat trick to drive turnout high.
Of course he didn’t put his money where his mouth is. Dems never do – they don’t have to. They find gullible reporters and let them do the dirty work.
If County Clerk candidate Stan Stanart sends us an update, I’ll post it here.
All I can tell you is that today is the last day of early voting. Turnout is key – sitting at home “hoping” a wave will take your country back will not cut it. Get out and make it happen.
