So you want to run for office, do you? Good! We want you to win!
But where do you start? What do you do? How do you run a campaign?
We have the answers! If you are willing to spend four hours of your time, we’ve arranged for candidate training from professional campaign consultants to help you with:
- Deciding if you are ready to run, understanding what lies ahead.
- Specifics for getting your name on the ballot.
- Mapping out a strategy.
- Developing a message.
- Communicating your message.
- How to incorporate volunteers in what you’re doing.
- Media: paid vs. earned.
- Dealing with the media.
- Raising Money.
- Campaigning 2.0.
- Leadership.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, 9/21 in the Neartown Houston Shepherd / Hwy 59 area. It will run from 10 am until 2 pm. Lunch is included. The cost is nominal – $25. If you aren’t willing to spend $25 to learn how to win, you aren’t interested in winning. We are looking for winners.
It doesn’t matter what level of campaign you want to run – there are basic issues that are common to all types of campaigns from precinct chair to school board to city council to state rep to governor. And if you don’t know these basic issues, you cannot win.
We want you to win because we want you to be a part of making your city, county, state, or federal government better.
The US Constitution begins with three simple words that make a powerful statement:
We the People
You are “the people”. You are “somebody”. You can change the world if you try. Stop complaining and start doing. But you need to know how. And we have the how.
You will have professional training and you will have time to get your tough questions answered.
The workshop size is very limited. Email [email protected] to save your spot today.
