Wayne Faircloth pushes back against his opponent’s negative attacks

wayne faircloth

Press release from the Wayne Faircloth campaign:

Dear Friend,

My opponent will say or do anything to get elected. He has written checks for more than $1 million to Austin lobby groups and now they are attacking me and spreading fake news to mislead older voters. It’s just disgusting. Middleton’s lies are once again easily disproven.

Here are the facts:

In the previous legislative session, I voted for a bill that would help nursing homes receive matching funds from an existing federal program. The bill specifically stated that Texas nursing homes could not pass the cost of this program on to its residents.

The plain language of the bill is unambiguous, and the “granny tax” lie was debunked several months ago, The legislation increased funding for our seniors in nursing homes and did not cost the residents of the facilities, the facilities themselves, or the State of Texas a single dollar.

Mayes Middleton, my opponent, has a credibility problem. He can’t STOP lying. He thinks he can buy our House seat, but I know we can stop him and the Austin lobby groups he has bankrolled.

Help me spread the word. Help me make sure our older friends get the truth about Fake News Middleton. Tell him our House seat is not for sale to extremists.

Thank you for your support and God bless,

Wayne
