Scott Milder Calls Out Lieutenant Governor for Lying to Texans About Teacher Pay Raise
(ROCKWALL, TX) – “I’m running for Lieutenant Governor because Dan Patrick is a liar and cannot be trusted,” said Scott Milder, conservative Republican, referring to Dan Patrick’s disingenuous promise to raise pay for Texas teachers.
“Dan Patrick’s latest radio ad has promised teachers a $10,000 pay raise, but his record shows he will not keep this promise. This is the same man who was instructed by the Governor to find money for a $1,000 raise for teachers and then tried to force local districts – not the state – to foot the bill. This is just a desperate attempt to appeal to the hundreds of thousands of educators he has screwed over during his 12 years in office, and they’re not buying it.”
Scott Milder, a conservative Republican, has twenty years of experience as a businessman. Scott served two terms on the Rockwall City Council and co-founded a nonprofit organization supporting Texas education. He lives in Rockwall with his wife of twenty years, Leslie, and their children. The Milders are members of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
