Big Jolly Turkey MeatloafPrint Recipe
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 10 oz package Pictsweet Seasoning Blend
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 lbs Ground Turkey 93/7
- 1/2 cup gluten free bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon Maggi Seasoning Sauce (optional)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the frozen bag of Pictsweet Seasoning Blend to the heated oil and stir until translucent, about 3 minutes. Then add the minced garlic to the pan and stir for an additional minute.
Place the heated vegetables into a large bowl. Add a tablespoon of ketchup, the Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir and let cool.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg with a fork and add the Maggi sauce.
When the vegetables are cool, add the turkey, bread crumbs and egg mixture to the bowl and mix until the ingredients are combined. Place the mixture into a lightly greased loaf pan (I use the 2 lb tinfoil ones).
Combine the remaining ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl and stir to combine. Spoon the mixture over the meatloaf.
Bake in an oven preheated to 400 degrees until the internal temperature in the middle of the meatloaf is 170 degrees. 35 to 40 minutes.
